The awful hell that is making a chest.

So in the orders screen, why is there no "Wood" selection under "t - Change traits" ?

Trying to keep 4 chests in storage that are made of wood, and of course I can change the material, but then I have to select the EXACT kind of wood I want them made out of - and chances are I might run out of that kind of wood.

I just want "wood", but there's no selection for that anywhere I can see. And without it - the job continues to show "boxes and bags" whereas if I were to select say "Cotton" it would automatically change this to "Cotton bags"

Can someone clue me in? I'm sure there must be a way and I'm just missing it.

Set the trait to 'plant'.

Doesn't that also include bags? I think you need the 'hard' trait as well.
