As some of you (might) know, I've been working on a Dwarf Fortress object tileset for a few months now. It's gotten to the stage where it's fairly comprehensive, and in normal Fortress mode play, most of the critters about have a tile.
However, I've run into a problem. My original file had about 200 tiles in it, which worked fine in game. However, adding another row to the bottom after this made everything skip down a row, so the carpenters would look like brokers and so on. I initially figured I'd just reached the cap for the number of tiles that could be held in one file, so I started another. However: I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get the game to use it.
Firstly I tried putting a new file entry under the old one, so it looked like this:
[TILE_PAGE :DWARVES]
[FILE:example/dwarves.bmp]
[TILE_DIM:16:16]
[PAGE_DIM:9:22]
[TITLE_PAGE :DWARVES2]
[FILE:example/dwarves2.bmp]
[TILE_DIM:16:16]
[PAGE_DIM:9:22]
This just made all of the tiles squashed and discoloured.
My next thought was to put the above [TITLE_PAGE etc stuff after all of the entries for the previous file and enter the new creature tilings below that, but this just made the game ignore them.
Am I missing something really obvious here? How can I get the game to recognise more than one file? Is there a hard cap for the number of tiles? (If so, this is a shame, because I was nowhere near done).
