Aaaaanddddd....destroy the transcom in Electric Sheep (revisit mission)? Found and destroyed it the first time I was there for the campaign, but upon revisiting it doesn't show up on my radar (even when standing in front of it), nor can does any amount of damage I give it destroy it. Hacking to destroy is similarly ineffective. Is there another transcom in that level?

In the campaign mission?

You can skip that objective by convincing the captain to start the attack; which isn't very hard.

Yep, there're more. The right one will always display an icon when you draw near.

Wow, I'm both a big fan of GitS movie and E.Y.E. and I never figured out that building being a very obvious homage to that scene.

I am now thoroughly ashamed.

And yeah, there's more than one transcom(s), or rather, the transcom in campaign =/= side missions transcom. Hold true for other side missions, like New Eden. Can be a bit confusing, but hey, it's E.Y.E., we take confusion for granted. :P

i tried to get into this game, but i have problems enjoying it.

the most disturbing issue is, that the game seems to be in mono. well not all the games, but the weapon sounds anyway. these sounds also only seems to have two sound levels: full loudness and muffled. so it just sounds the same if someone in medium range ahead shoots me, as if someone directly beside me on my right side shoots me. this makes it very hard for me to tell from where i am attacked. its very very confusing.
is this a known problem? is there a fix? as it is now, i consider this game mostly unplayable.

Have you checked if you have 3D audio turned on in the audio settings? The sound effects in the game might not be the highest quality, but it still runs on the Source engine, which has pretty decent directional sound capabilities. I never experienced what you're talking about in the game.

yeah, i checked the options before i asked.
it seems the game has big issues with win10. using compatiblity mode helped somewhat, but it was still hard to use sounds to locate attackers.

i ultimately gave up on this game when after climbing up a ladder i was immidiately killed by a turret right before i could exit the ladder, and i could not find a different path. i think there is some greatness in it, but the level design is just bad. they are huge, and borring, and mostly unused. in the level i decided it was not worth it where dozends of doors that would not open that looked just like doors that would open and it was just really a bad experience.

i dont know. maybe i am to late for the party here. might have been more  forgiving 10 years ago.

I tried playing multiplayer and it did this weird thing where it would continuously teleport me back to right where I spawned into the level every second.  I was very excited to do some EYE again but then that happened.  Was very sad.
