You cannot turn off shock with the editors.  However your can turn off unconsciousness which results from shock.  The editors at this point are very scientific and do not allow for many magic exceptions.  Which means that you have to give the elf a rational reason for surviving massive trauma.  Right now you could make organs like the brain more durrable.  ex: "moderate damage to cause failure" vs "massive damage to cause failure"  You could also give them an open circulatory system so they have no ateries and don't bleed out as fast.

Open circulatory systems (like those in insects) can't exist in large creatures.  They work by bringing oxygen from the skin to the rest of the body by osmosis.  Because larger creatures have a smaller surface-area to volume ratio they would not be able to absorb enough O2 to survive.  This is one of the only magical exceptions allowed for in the editor.  Large bugs can exist.  If elves bled like bugs they would be very hard to kill.

I have a brief question: did you make your smoothed-out humans with your homebrew editor?

And just how inscrutable and hard to use are the editors right now? Are we talking Aurora Toolset kinda difficulty, or maybe writing large, non-trivial applications from scratch in assembler kind of level, or possibly building skyscrapers using nothing but a hook on a long pole?

Ok... if that is what you want Kurtalmak then that is what you shall get. Since you don´t want me in this forum I will leave... forever.

It was fun while it lasted.
But just so that you know:
Jag kommer vänta utanför ditt hus iklädd i en jason mask och med flera väldigt vassa vapen, och den saken kan du inte edita!

Humans were created with the editor.  It is possible to figure out the editor thru trail and error - but thier will be a lot of crashes with no explanation.

I don't know -- at least you can be sure about the Aule part.  The Silmarillion is vague sometimes, like the Bible.  I suppose we'll just have to work through it ourselves.

At least we know dwarves are short.
