The human caravan showed up and brought two copies of "Records of Sleep", a manual concerned the secret of life and death. I didn't think those were supposed to be brought by caravans?

Apparently they do.
Bonus points if they bring Death of a Salesman next year.

Sounds like more of the necro-craziness that needs to be throttled back a bit.

Where was the book originally written?

How did it arrive at the human settlement?

The caravan brought copies (as usual: I've never seen an original, and think that's intentional). The one and only entry in exported legends info states it was written by a necro in a castle somewhere.

And the next year's caravan brought A World of Mortality (copy) by the same author. Again, the single entry state the original was written in the same castle.

I don't think it should be in this case. It's player choice whether or not to buy the book from the caravan.

Agreed. But should such knowledge really be that commonly available instead of being tightly guarded secrets?

Is it common? As far as I know, Patrik is the first person mentioning it since the update.

Oh, I see. I got the impression from your post that it was common, my mistake.
