No surrounding helping civilizations

How long will the fortress exists?
The peaceful civilizations are on a landmass separated by sea

The fortress has only enemies around
Can the be made holding somewhere ?.. i do have a Messenger

You can conquer nearby sites. Sometimes nearby sites will be founded if your fortress is wealthy.
