Resurgence of the Mild Sad Thread

I haven't slept. Turns out the Melbourne Book Market is on today, which I wouldn't mind going to - but I don't exactly feel motivated to trek into the city on zero sleep.
It's a weekly event so I can always go the next one, but still. Not like I've exhausted the regular sources of books anyway.

Also I have little in the way of food, so I'm probably going to have to head to the bakery a block away at the very least. Ugh.

I'm mildly happy we get to make fine distinctions in our threadchoice to express our emotions, before everybody goes on these big off-branch discussions. But I'm mildly sad because I was convinced there was a "things that made you feel nothing thread" so I get to stay.

Were there a things that made you feel nothing thread, I would have posted:

"getting "the talk" by Mr Airhead, while pondering Hanna Arendt's distinction between the liar and the mendacious (lügner & verlogen), seeing bad deals sold as mercy, and noticing a general trend to have a very subjective form of accounting time, that even reflects itself on the paycheck... ah well, this was never going to last"

Been kinda sick todayyesterday and so far this morning[/s]. Partly due to hangover, but I'm pretty sure there are also some separate digestive issues in there.
Feeling all bloated and stuff even now, at 2am the next day. Spent most of yesterday asleep.

I had some interesting dream, like, I think it was really interesting and exciting and possibly even action-packed with thrilling suspense, but I seemed to forget it before it could even occur to me to write it down.
