Playing default Dwarf fortress with LNP pack

All sorts of options for playing a not standard dwarf fortress,  but for now i like to play the default version tile set for DF.
Why there is no button in LNP for restoring the default Dwarf fortress configuration?

You can just play Dwarf Fortress if you want the "default" settings. No need for a pack at all. Complaints about third party utils should go in that utils thread by the way. You're more likely to get a response from the maker there.

I must say it that the default DF is also nice to play with , because  i soon noticed to get used to the graphics.
In an earlier post i wrote that it was dull the default DF compared with a tileset e.g spacefox

Its a little bit dull yes, the default DF, but no point..still enjoyable.

Should be attractiver as the dwarves are more recognizable as dwarves in default DF, while they are now small squares..that's looks artificial.
I am wondering when i try to play with the default DF, what i am going to miss in handling the dwarves as i play with LNP pack where dwarf therapist is included.
 
Dwarf therapist is not included in default DF, makes it probably harder to play the default DF ?

What people do like to play the default DF..are they the "purist" players ?

You can still download and use Dwarf Therapist without the LNP.

It's harder to micromanage your dwarves if you don't have Therapist or Dfhack Manipulator, yes. But some of us find that tedious as hell regardless of having a graphical interface to do it with.

Still everyone plays in their own way. And yes, you don't need an LNP, that's just a package of popular utilities and tilesets. Just choose what helps you play the game and have a fun time and stick with that, regardless of whether it's in a pack or not.
