A succession fort done by the community, for the community!
Welcome to the
Realm of Vision and it's one and only
Continent of glaze at the center of it all. In this
goblin-
infested warzone, we welcome you and bid you good luck. As it is our duty, you and i, to make sure of the
dwarven race's survival over these trying times, we must build and maintain the biggest beacon of hope and craftsdwarfship for our dying species. We must, together, unite our kind and stand tall as one of the three last fortresses of the dwarven kind.
There has been 10 sucessors so far to lead us to glory, myself included. And we are looking for more as the pool of candidates is getting shallow. You might've heard about us before, a small story of mine made it's way into the threads not too long ago.
Here's a map of the world so you know what you're getting yourself into, mind you this was before the great war:
(For those who need help with the Kruggsmash tileset, all the purple things are goblin fortresses and all the yellow trees are elven forest retreats)
That map there's old, it was a map of the world before the goblins attacked, year 170 of the Age of Legends, now it's year 180 of the age of Heroes and it only gets worse. To sumarise it, we're a succession project that started with around 20-25 people, each turn we roll a dice on a website and whoever rolls the highest on a
D20 gets to play that turn, we prioritize newer players, so if you've already played you'll have to give your turn to the next one who has the highest roll to make sure every one gets a play.

While it may look like a bit of a mess, it's not that bad, once you get past the madness you begind to see that it's a glowing beacon of dwarven civilisation, using a multitude of techniques and machinations to keep itself standing! So here's where you step in, we need
you to govern it next!
Here's how it works:
-Roll a
D20 with others on the discord server, and the one who rolls the highest gets to play.

-Each year our team of moderators will notice you with a
ping! on the server when it's time to roll so you never miss a chance.
-In this fort, no one has absolute power, not me, not any other admin. We are a fully
democratic succession fort. If you have a suggestion or a request that could affect the whole group, then we will host a vote on strawpoll.com.
-Our goal is to keep it going as long as possible, so unless it is deemed impossible to continue we will reverse a save that looses or kills us if we go on too long. We have failsafes to keep us from death. Of course, setbacks happen and we are no strangers to strife, but no voluntary murder, you hear!?
-Skill isn't required for us, anyone, with any level of skill and playtime, can come to play, if they roll a high number they'll take over, of course, if they kill the fort we can always roll it back as said before, but if they don't then it always makes things more
