Right that's it.  Was that mostly a worldgen thing because they don't produce food?  If you combine the NO_EAT and CARNIVORE tokens will you get goblins that eat but don't starve?

Goblins should reproduce by transforming snatched children into new immortal goblins.
Love, marriage, & family life? not goblinish in my opinion. Kidnapping, black magic, & coercion? absolutely goblinish. Plus it would limit population growth to available abductees, and give a justification to their existing behaviour.

Elves? Seems like cycles of birth, death, and rebirth would be their thing. Maybe they reincarnate, and can only reproduce when there's an available soul. That way you'd have an effectively fixed population, that would only get more skilled and experienced over time. Skilled enough to make up for their deficiencies in equipment? Maybe not, but they can still field armies if they initiate mortals into elven society

I thought the carnivore issue was that if carnivores needed to eat, the predator prey ratio is off and they'd depopulate the world and then all starve to death. I also might have dreamed that.

So, goblins could be neutered because dig-deep disasters can spawn more, meaning the number isn't totally fixed at the beginning, which, for some reason, sounds better to me.

Elves, then, should spawn in waves somehow. As the game stands now, I would say in relation to the corruption of nature that necromancer towers and gob towers cause. Seems only natural that a force would generate with a group of some elves to combat the unnatural.

When Magic arc and creation stories are added, there will probably be a certain emphasis on genesis and accomodate the ways that asexual races could 1 time be birthed into the world, continously birth into the world in waves or do so very rarely/reincarnate at this place similarly to the discussions about what clowns might be capable of in the circus.

If there's a big world-tree (a magical location site, like a plane of floating stones or something) as a embodyment of nature, a horrible image you've dispensed into my mind is the sight of elves growing upside down like bananas upon it. Therefore giving them a reasonable asexual way of reproducing without doing the deed, as long as this important site which is likely to be a culturally important & capital is not razed and remains in elf-hands.

A bunch of Goblins owerpowering the protectors would essentially sterilize the race.
