This was before Clément took over Dwarf Therapist and I thought Mac users would need to pick between 32-bit Dwarf Fortress with Dwarf Therapist or 64-bit Dwarf Fortress with DFHack + TWBT.

I'm confused by the question: do you know what TWBT is. That's an odd one. Why didn't you go with "Do you use TWBT?"

I was satisfied with the response for users of TWBT from the previous poll from December 2017, but was curious if awareness of the mod had increased since then or not. Lots of people don't seem to know what it does exactly.

Gotcha, makes sense. Yeah, I looked at the "other" responses and was surprised to see people recognized it, but didn't know what it did.

Surprised how few people are planning to buy DF on itch.

Itch isn't as well-known as Steam. More people have heard of Steam and already have several games on it. A big convenience of a game marketplace app is having all your games in one place. It kind of defeats the purpose a little to purchase a game on a different app than what all your other games are on.

I've found that TWBT kills my performance late game, and framerate death is a bad enough issue to begin with.

Disabling TWBT gives me significant framerate boosts. I think the multi-Z level rendering is whats hogging performance, and DF's optimization problems means every last CPU cycle is precious.
