Arming/Training Citizens before Relocating?
« on: February 13, 2020, 05:29:16 pm »

Hello all,

When sending citizens to your owned settlements, is there any benefit to arming and/or training them?  I know during wars your cities can get attacked and so many hillocks, etc. have so few residents, they would easily get wrecked by incoming raids.  The thread about rescuing 1000+ elves got me thinking, when relocating unwanted citizens to other cities, should I tell them to pick up some cheap equipment on their way out and then transfer them? 20 troops armed with leather and goblinite could help defend other towns but I'm not sure if combat is handled like that or if it even matters what they're equipped/trained with once they leave.  Just how in-depth in this simulation?

Anyone ever looked into this?
