Issue collecting clay?

I have two potters/glazers who ONLY have those labors enabled, and they sit there with no job instead of collecting clay when it comes up. What labor enables them to collect clay? I don't use burrows, so that isn't the problem. Is clay considered stone, so they need stone hauling enabled? I have never had this issue before.

Clay is considered stone, and they will need the stone hauling labor enabled. Also, make sure that you have made a zone with clay collection enabled at a location with clay, and that there is a valid type of clay to collect in that zone.

Only a dwarf with the Item Hauling labor can perform the Collect Clay job at a kiln.

Clay is considered a stone, and so moving the clay to a stockpile uses Stone Hauling.
