Not sure, but can we not? I'm pretty sure Toady has laid bans on such shenanigans, precisely because of said glitches.

Not really any glitches, but it's just really bad for the forum software and will slow it down noticeably.

If you really wish to find out, I suggest doing a local test on your own hardware.

Toady is using nginx http server, with SMF forums.  Not sure what SQL backend he is using, but probably either mysql or postgres.



That software can be installed for free on hardware you own.  You can then perform the test on that hardware, and not run the risk of damaging the forum here.
