Getting a pet to follow you after telling it to wait somewhere
« on: January 31, 2020, 07:46:44 pm »

I told my donkey to wait somewhere, but when I asked it to follow me again it did not. Is there any way to remedy this?

Have you tried riding it for a while? Fast traveling in and out of an area?

tried lead it/slash riding it for a distance. As soon as I let him go, he bee-lines back to the place I told him to wait at. I fast traveled away and then returned. I retired, made another adventurer in the party, gifted the donkey to him (donkey still wouldn't follow new owner), and gifted it back to my original adventurer. None of this worked.

Its a bug that's up on the Mantis tracker and most likely on Toady's attention to fix.
