Dwarven Caravan has Moghoppers to trade constantly

Are Moghoppers worth getting (both for food and for extracts)?

If traders have them, you should buy some or all. Some dwarfs will get happy thoughts from eating them. I don't recall moghopper juice being edible, check the wiki, maybe it can be cooked...

My method is to buy up almost all foods from caravans and barrel it, because this will be the only way to obtain some favorite foods, and because I am too lazy to check if I already "have enough" of each food. It is easier to leave it in the barrels and left the dwarfs choose.

From what I read. Mog Juice can be used for making meals, but dwarves wont drink it. I could be wrong though.
