Dwarves could experience a thought: "was exhilarated/frightened by an exciting ride" for dwarves that ride minecarts that go at high speed or become airborne. (Or maybe any time a dwarf exceeds a certain velocity or travels along a parabolic arc?) It would be a positive, neutral, or negative thought depending on the EXCITEMENT_SEEKING personality trait?

This would be pretty in line with real-life psychology, too. There's already a need, "doing something exciting" associated with the EXCITEMENT_SEEKING trait that this could fill.

It might be better if the max speed to turn the positive thought into a negative was related to the EXCITEMENT_SEEKING trait? Dwarves with low values would be exhilarated by rides at slow roller speeds, but frightened if the speed goes higher, while dwarves with higher values would need faster speeds to achieve exhilarated, and in the 91+ range, dwarves would would remain excited up to the game max velocity, which brings parabolic aerial adventures into play, along with the associated engineering challenges of surviving the experience.

Then an effective dwarven amusement park would have to include a variety of rides if you wanted to deliver the right amount of thrill based on their personality traits.
