Name: Colin Cowden
Physical Description: A very small and wiry youth, with a tangled mess of faded, grey-white hair. Pallid, skin nearly the color of said hair. His build is such that one would be forgiven for thinking he was but an adolescent, or even a particularly moody child. Prefers large, billowy clothes, to make himself look less skeletal.
Starting Scenario: Born and Raised From the Dead
Backstory: A wise woman once said, "For we are linked by blood, and blood is memory without recollection".

Colin was born the youngest child to a single mother. His father had abandoned the trio right before Colin was born, leaving the forlorn family to fend off the encroaching ghost of poverty. Colin's mother, Nemo, had to  scrape whatever living she could inbetween taking care of two growing children, and his brother Nick had to begin working for momey at the ripe age of 14, when Colin was 9.

The years passing did nothing to alleviate their financial trouble, with the Cowdens only barely managing to stay alive. As Colin grew, he began to idolize his remaining family- brother and mother both, and where the Cowdens lacked in funds they had in the strength of their bond. That was what he thought, anyways, and it made him determined to finally dig his family out of their hole once and for all. He gravitated towards Economics, honing his mind in matters of business.

That all changed when, during Colin's eighteenth birthday, they found themselves in a car accident. Colin and his mother were killed, and Nick disappeared, a body having never been found. Newly ressurected, Colin has taken it upon himself to find where his brother went, by any means nessecary - and to earn a pretty penny along the way.

Name: Cara Hyrting
Physical Description: A young woman with light brown skin and raven-black hair parted with fiery-red and indigo highlights, Cara is of foreign descent and holds herself with educated poise and demeanor. She is slender in her figure, and mundane with most of her features. Her eyes have heterochromatic hues, of dark brown and deep silver, and her face is oval-shaped.
Starting Scenario: On Dark Shores
Backstory: There was one family member within the "Ting" line that Cara held with utmost regard--one who would have been the only daughter if she would not have been adopted. Her older sibling had a penchant of ciphers and esoteric things, even from when she was young--constantly challenging her skills in her youth, while also being an unconventional but deep-seated connection, as her parents were usually away. Cara was educated and taught to be independent at an early age at the local academies, although this resulted in her separation with her only sibling who mentioned finding a job overseas that fit their niche and probably even broaden the family line; they would be in contact by writing ever since, with Cara only able to receive messages during semestral break and holidays at home. When Cara had reached adulthood and graduated, she had returned for one final time to see her parents in mourning with only a strange letter to give her as the last few months' communications as well as the notice of death carrying one of her ciphers.

She believed her sibling had more to the story, and her parents told her to do whatever best she had in mind--and wished her well in doing so. The notice of death was addressed with a misnomer "SBeve", which Cara knew to be understood as either a change of name, or a reference to the last evening of Saint Barrchullasus, wherein there was danger ahead in some figurative but real manner.

Either way, she decided to honor her sibling and venture forth, wishing all she had to her parents who had cared for them both ever since, and took a one-way trip to the City of Twilight.
