As per the title, it's a great piece but it has a whiny background hissing noise, which I removed. This is a patch submission, I guess.

The denoised file is the finished product. The .ogg is encoded with parameters close to the original.

denoised_lossless(.flac)
denoised_lossy(.ogg)

There's also a set of snippets that demo the problem:

Listen to the noise, turn up the volume till you can hear it, then listen to the other two and that should make things clear.

It's not a perfect fix but it's good enough.

How about Toady looking around for some musical talents to donate some copyright-free songs/albums to Dwarf Fortress? :) Because, why not? He could set up announce on this forum to all users. Then he could contact volunteers with their account's email address. It is doable. Imagine streaming on Twitch Dwarf Fortress game with A LOT more songs to it. :D There have to be few musicians, who love Dwarf Fortress too. :D
