Awakening with Malaya, Vahranis is pleased at Mata's accomplishments, and sends word through Valt praising her for defending her people.
Action 1 (Tag action with Malaya (Tiruin) (2 CP (Alter Creature)): Stone Backs into Stalwart Hearts
Sharing Power with another entity had great potential, but also coming with more responsibility within the institutions of culture. The Longarms were an ancient people, and whose trees were considered divine and holy despite not speaking back or having any particular fantastical significance other than provision of basic needs, and whose lore was orally kept and preserved within the stories told by arborist to arborist, and people to people. They were content, and after conferring with Vahranis, Malaya agreed to ensure this contentment was upheld that in the future, it may be spread.
Thus Power was exchanged through application.
Action 1: 4CP Sapient-ize (game mechanic) the Stalwart Hearts...and let them develop their own name as a civilization. There were a group of lizards nearest to the Longarms that inhabited the dark green groves--the multicolored trees they found home and sustenance from were all even-spaced and nigh-perfectly complementing each other. It was through a
free spirit sight and talk with Mata that it was known that these were Illan's trees; Illan was the first arborist, and for some reason, much of the oral lore was...garbled.
Belike the sky dark of twimmer, unclouded and unlit, best before the night. Though betwixt the palter lumens for the sun's xenith 'ay nigh in the welkin. Amain Illan did at amain assay an ambuscade. Doth not they know the baseborn bane of the unhight. Sooth was the sore underscore of his tilt sought, unware of the varlet whom doth th'y wanion ire. Wellaway, as thus it was, eyes set upon the whilom unknown. Eyes of ague affright Illan, witness of the accouchement of light purple. Apricity in feel, but not meaning. Aokawan, robed in bijoux and bootless of consequence, drew welkin down. Certes a chicane oth contume words exchanged. Unto Lethophobia, the plot revealed. Maugre, the measure of cessitation unstopped. Swick and swack. Splater, clashed. It calls forth soul unrended whole. The nithling Aowakan skilled well of nubbing, perchance lost, though only the picaroon peterman of pestilence doth walaway their power of pergrinate for alow a cruse the cross of the ambuscade d' set them. Afearedt they clung and draged alow Illan, accouchement of leaf as shredded he. Rememb, this oft, alow one may go, though, naught avaunt ascend.
Malaya felt it was the wear of age or some kind of lacking scrutiny that affected these.
Thus they created.
Action 2: Create Accoutrement (6DP, shared with Vahranis)Name: The Box of Containment
Appearance: Named in jest of the New--this bag appears like a normal carrying bag or box with carrying straps that resizes and modifies itself in attunement to the user, (e.g. being near weightless or able to be carried regardless of their physical or spiritual prowess). It strengthens the wielder, as well as enables them to contain many different objects, such as those having lethal (spirit or otherwise) characteristics or intensity, as well as provide safe examination for any observer looking into the container towards the item individually therein, which basically appears as looking through a viewing glass or looking into an open container. Living creatures can exist within the bag for a certain time as long as they understandably consent to being placed within there and can communicate with the attuned user to be brought out on their own action rather than the user's even if nominally incapable of doing so; the creature's vitals are made aware to both the user and themselves instinctively even if the container is not within their current possession but attuned to the consented user's being, appearing in the thoughts of either. The container has its own holding area for tools for the purposes of easier harvest of resources in a safe and efficient manner--which can be used for makeshift weapons, but purely for the intent and purpose of utilitarian work.
Purpose: Utilitarian, designed for use by Longarms or smaller
Effects: +1 SS, +1 PS
Enables storage of magic or other items in a safe context as well as rendering whatever is stored as harmless in viewing to the onlooker from any externalizing properties--for living creatures, being used as a very temporary storage or safe area, and are treated as put in stasis, where detrimental effects such as from curses or illnesses will not progress and can be gradually removed--as well as for tasks in collecting resources by changing a tool inserted within it to the form needed (e.g. making music, harvesting plantlife, collecting items in trees, mining rocks, or construction and measurement) and keeping a set of tools within.
All items put within are safely segregated from each other, and each can be taken out of the container distinct as they are when the attuned user wills what is brought out--the container can act as a limited workspace in interacting with especially harmful items stored within, protecting the user from objectively harmful properties.
Any living creature within may not be forcibly taken out, or harmed by objects within the container or by the user from outside the container, and in the case of malicious harm from the user, attuned or otherwise, the creature may be transformed into a temporary form which forces their escape from sudden harm upon choosing to exit the container without enabling them to harm the user back.
Through voice or thought, there existed another form that went by the common tongue between peoples and spirits--that of song, either vocal or instrumental; a mutual relationship, as well as the tools needed to be able to work with the relationship. Underlying worship that covered the translation of power from the exchange and communications of the people; power was neither created nor destroyed but transformed, and it was communicated through different means.
The accoutrement was given to Valt, to give better options in the years to come as well as work with resources better. The Stalwart Hearts were basically already knowledgeable with fire and tool-use, with cultural differences in their groups and by their understandings.
Mata was requested to spread teachings onto them and help guide them, given that they were the only Longarm outside the forest that, apparently, had ever stepped outside the forest!
Action 3: Turn into an IdolUpon request of Mata, given their form, Malaya noted that perspective meant a lot to the people, and given the context of the situation, it was perhaps most useful to become a font or figurehead which would be intended to be used as a symbol of love, strength, and solidarity. The world was older than their memory, and they were not working with a nascent people. It was time to take roots into the world and instead of causing the very fragile line of tyranny to form, it was perhaps time to manifest and guide instead. With these at hand, perhaps the notion of and outside the binary of New and familiar, of the individual as merely one form or a two-standard scale, would become more diverse. Perhaps one day, the Longarms would bring their contentment outside of the forests and into the greater world--most of which was unknown in their lore.
