It gets a tad tedious micromanaging sometimes and was wondering if anyone ever used or uses these and can explain which is better and how to use it efficiently? Thank you...

Well I would like someone who uses said mods to give me more insight on the best way to use it and if it in fact can replace DT. I love DF but sometimes the micro-management gets to me lol...

Then don't micromanage. Therapist was made for people who like to micromanage and need a more convenient way to do it. Don't and you don't need it.
Also, try the mods forum, they talk about mods there I hear.
