Alain felt warmth--much like she remembered the cold in her dark moments back when she was amongst people, and when she was attacked. A similar warmth; in her pain, she expected to see a friendly face as she tried to open her eyes. She was not back in the city, facing her mentor, but seeing the Crest of ancient time reflected in the light told her she was with good people.
