Reading. What is occurring to my south. Also, what happens if I go to cut through the central enemy I felt before with Shield active?

You decide against using even a single one of your demigod powers and head towards the presence, and it only takes about a minute to find it. It has an ominous shifting violet color, is humanoid... And it stands at least 50 feet tall. The world in an area directly beneath it appears to be fading away into nothingness. It lacks anything like facial features, but there is a large swirling blue spot on it that appears to be made of ice...

You use your 読Ether Prediction-Reading ability to see what is going on in the south. There is a group of Poyapturan wearing some kind of blue colored uniform with a gold trim. They are fighting against a group of the hollow enemies not unlike the ones you dealt with before. One of their uniforms deviates greatly from the others, consisting of brown and blacks with a large broad-brimmed hat. You also predict what will happen if you cut through the central enemy with your shield active... Nothing out of the ordinary happens at all. Probably because the "Different" one isn't located in the middle of the group!

Speaking of which, the group of "Things" is now within your direct field of vision...

読Ether Prediction-Reading ability reveals that a direct attack on the "Different" one would still result in its detonation with your shield up. The blast at melee range is enough to knock you down, but not enough to do any serious harm in this scenario. This assumes that you rush past the others to attack it directly.

You then use your Monado Art: Swift ability to travel to the south, then target the Hollow entities using your Xenoblade. Its a bit trickier to target them while they are in melee distance of something that you do not want to cut, but you manage. One of the Poyapturan begins to thank you, but is quickly cut off by the one with the black hat. She (or possibly he) says "Don't be so nice. This is clearly a witch!"

He reaches into his jacket pocket and pulls out something that looks like a pistol, which she promptly points at you.

You decide to turn around and look for some place else assuming that the thing you are looking at does not want to interact with you. However, it quickly turns out that this assumption is as wrong as some kind of a wrong crocodile when it turns to face you directly and starts walking in your direction. You are pretty sure that you can outpace it if you used your Quick Step ability if you were so inclined.

"What's a witch?" she ask confusingly.

Be prepped to slash down the bullet into minuscule atoms. Continue the spread of world order.

I'm going to use both my Stone Skin and Quick Step Abilitys to give it several VERY hard punches, if that fails to do any real harm to the thing then I'll Flee back from it.

You ask what a witch is, and prepare for this question to trigger an immediate negative response. Why would this happen? Well I'm sure you can think of at least one reason.

You then proceed to use your previously activated speed ability to cut down some kind of projectile fired from their weapon using your Xenoblade.

The other Poyapturan in the group seem alarmed at this point. About half of the others ready a weapon that resembles some kind of polearm, with outwards facing spikes along about one half of the shaft. The other half pull out what appears to be some kind of firearm colored in brown and shining grey. The black hatted one has quickly sheathed the pistol and is reaching for... Something... On his or her body.

You decide to punch it a few times by closing the distance using your Quick Step ability and your Stone Skin ability. While "hard" would indeed be a fair description of your attack, its more hard in the fact that it is sturdy. The first punch made what appears to be a dent in it due to your momentum, but your followup strikes have much less force. You manage to step away from it just in time to avoid a stomping attack from its foot.

There is a bit of a warped puddle beneath the point of impact...

Monado Art: Shield!

This will only protect me for a bit, but overwhelming defense should help me talk them down. Also, those things from before can still move when cut apart.


"You know, I come down here to help you, and this is the response I get. Did you think I would let you shoot me?"

"On another note, there is more of these things around, and I was dealing with them when I sensed you. Now will you please tell me what a witch is? I'm from off-planet."

"Oh, and these things take more than being cut to stop moving, these hollow shells."

Continue my spread of world order.

The black-clad Poyapturan exclaims that "A witch is a user of non-legalized magic. You can't possibly have a license if you don't know even that". As he said that, he tossed what appears to be some kind of glass bottle at you. It shatters on impact with your shielded form. The flask contained some kind of liquid that reacts... "Badly" to the presence of your ether, and its certainly not good for your shield ability either.

You can see some of the other Poyapturan using their pole-weapon things to slice at the fallen hollow entities. It seems like the black-wearing Poyapturan is about to say or do something else. You could interrupt him or her if you do not much appreciate what is currently going on. Or you could just listen.
