Avoiding the filter crash?
« on: July 09, 2018, 08:22:57 am »

This is a known vanilla bug (http://www.bay12games.com/dwarves/mantisbt/view.php?id=9905) where number of materials is causing a 16 bit signed int overflow. Does anyone know what the easiest way to reduce the number of materials when playing MW is? I started my game with random creatures off, rest of them on, and default settings mostly, and am experiencing the bug in a reproducible way.

/edit
I did some experiments and in the end had to disable everything including vanilla creatures to avoid crashing in the filter screen. I really hope this bug gets fixed :/
