Block for block.  I made a model to help figure out how I'm going to do the vertical levels and fortifications.  I still haven't figured out how to do good DF fortifications yet.

The river has been built, the ground leveled, the entire first floor built block for block.  I tried to chain up a giant spider as is commonly seen in Swampcavern, but it doesn't work in Minecraft.  I show a shot of the "real" Swampcavern so you can compare.

i tested it quite the while and it should be even more 5x5 and 4 blocks high (including the floor).
essentially one tile should be big enough to house a FB or dragon.

The latest video is up.  This series is almost over.  I have some bonus footage and I will do one more episode that just shows the fort in DF, Armok Vision and Minecraft for comparison.  Then it will be over.  You briefly see Swampcavern level by level in this one to show how the Minecraft fort is accurate.

I'm guessing the old DF to Minecraft utility isn't working anymore? (looking again, it was last updated eight years ago, so I guess that answers that question)  Or are you just doing it manually for the fun of it?  If I recall, there was a tool a few years back that could export DF terrain, but not forts, into minecraft.  That might also be unsupported now, but it could be handy to gen a world copy, export the site's location, and have a nice copy of the terrain to work with.

How's the fort look compared to Armok Vision?  Better, worse, just different?  Edit: Nevermind, just noticed you said you're gonna demonstrate that in the next vid.  Will be neat to compare.

The main difference is the towers are made taller by about 1/3 because I included a block layer to stand on in each of the minecraft levels.  The lower levels don't show the distortion as much.  I had a friend point out the DF to minecraft converter, but it only converted to early alpha minecraft, didn't have a lot of the things that would be nice to have.  Putting this fort in the flat world it should live in would be pretty amazing.
