Returning Player - what the hell was that util?
« on: April 15, 2018, 03:55:49 pm »

Hi,

I haven't played in ages, just redownloaded. What was the name of the utility that allowed you to see what minerals were at a site before embarking?

It's a dwarf.  Their natural habitat is "trapped on the wrong side of a wall".

Flinging children halfway across the map to land in magma is good, wholesome fun, but extramarital reproduction?  Why, that's just unseemly!

embark-assistant does have some of it, but I think Koremu is thinking of prospector (invoked with "prospect" with optional parameters). embark-assistant's mineral detection logic is copied from prospector, by the way.
