Best jail set up for maximum Soviet Hammer(er).

Greetings Comerades! I have a fort planned for the next release and wish to know if anyone has done !!SCIENCE!! on what jail set up results in maximum hammering. Because Communist Fortress needs such things.

I'm talking just in general. Useless mandate will be ignored for it does not help fortress.

arnt all forts communist since the economy is disabled?

but anyway, the injustice system only punishes any random dwarf that a noble decides should be punished for not completing a mandate, or for bringing something to a trade depot that the noble has said shouldent be traded.


the best way to get lots of hammerings is to become the mountianhome so that you get the monarch, and all the other lazy nobles who will sit around making mandates all day.

then just ignore the mandates and enjoy as your entire population is slaughtered by their own judicial system, causing everything in your fort to grind to a halt due to a lack of workers.

Well, more of a feudal peerage. It's still a centrally organized (local) economy, the difference is largely a question of who, legally, owns and controls the means of production. The ownership/property system technically doesn't exist yet but its implied by the capacity for nobles to implement requirements, demands, and mandates.

Everyone has every labor enabled. So no lack of workers.

All chains. Without chains hammering is reduced to beating.

Best jail setup would be no jail at all so hammering is the default punishment.
Without a jail there will only be beatings, no hammering or imprisonment.

1. Trade Depot Prohibition Bait (TDBP).
- Choose a noble that has likes common crafts such as screptre who will want it often and impose prohibition of trade. 
- Do not assign a broker, set trade depot to anyone can trade. 
- Select prohibited to be sent to depot. 
- Set depot to need a broker, anyone welcome.  Make a trade to trigger violation. 

2. Luxury Jails, toggled active / inactive as needed via locked door.
- It is possible to have multi z-level jail since chained dwarf can move 1 tile away include z-level.  So you can have 2x1 stockpile for plump helmet for food, a bed, coffer, cabinet, statue assigned to prisoner who is chained next to stairs, a well, and a 1x1 bucket stockpile.

What we need is a vampire.

Infect half the fort with vampirism, open dormitories, cue plenty of observed crimes which you can then blame on the rest of the population!

Then comes the moral outrage that comes with such a ridiculous sentencing, which leads to tantrums, which leads to more crimes, which leads to more hammerings, which leads to more ridiculous sentencings, which leads to more tantrums again!

It's like the Dwarven Justice Reactor, really.

(Or just mod militia captains to be able to make mandates so you can ignore them, then appoint as many captains as you want)
