"Bloody-Mary"-class Battle Cruiser: 827 ft heavily armored steel missile cruiser with a wide array of missile options, either to conduct both land bombardment and anti-ship attacks. One of its missile arrays uses the P-15 missile launcher, to have replaceable and same technology as used in the Bloodletter-destroyer. The most innovative of advancement on this ship is a
nuclear marine propulsion system, one of the main strength besides the increased momentum this cruiser has compared to oil or coal-fueled ships, is it has a longer waiting period before it needs to be refueled. However, the low running fuel cost is undermined by the fact of the high operating costs and the investments in naval power. It still has some secondary reserve steam engines, as well.
Design Goals:
-A fully functioning Battlecruiser that can serve as the capital ship of a naval fleet, that has a array of missiles. With a P-15 surface-to-surface missile for bombardment and anti-ship combat, and the newly introduced SAM missile launcher as well to hit aerial targets.
-Is equipped with dual-purpose 130mm autocannons that can engage both aerial and surface targets.
-Nuclear-propelled engine, that means there is less need for the ship to return to naval bases for refueling
-
Design Inspiration"Bloodhound"-class Light Ground-Attack Aircraft: A low-set, straight-wing jet fighter equipped with air-to-ground conventional bomb payload for bombardment and 12.7mm autocannons to serve as anti-air weapons, and even some guided aerial air-to-air interceptor missiles. All equipped with a basic communication and radar array. This is an ambitious design for providing a fighter that serves as both an aerial fighter and strike aircraft.
