Kubuk Limarlogem, a dwarven child was snatched by a goblin thief.
She was dehydrated so Alath Giginkeskal Othorkulin Lokok, a hammer lord currently off duty fetched a bucket of water and followed her.
Alath caught up with Kubuk who was in the bag of the goblin thief near the edge of the map.
I switched Alath's squad to Active, and he killed the goblin with a hammer bash to the brain.
Kubuk was freed. She ran towards the food stockpile before dying of thirst near the gate.

PS: I checked the bucket Alath dropped, its content showed water [3].
PPS: I also checked Kubuk's age via her mother's relationship menu, and it showed she was only 1 years old? But if so, shouldn't she be a dwarven baby instead?

In modern versions of DF dwarves grow from babies to children at an age of 1, so you'd have to check date of birth and the current date to determine which side of the line you are on.
