I cannot seem to locate any "sand" on the map that I'm on... is there a way to create it?  I've got plenty of silty soil, rock, etc, and a big fat river running through the middle.  I thought that by draining some small ponds I'd find some sand at the bottom, but it's just "a murky pool" leftover.

Ideas?

Umm, why do you need sand, for glass? If you drain a pond you might find some, but it might be easier just to dig under it...

I think my last cave in made some sand, don't know if it can be used for glass making.
