chopping named trees
« on: October 30, 2007, 06:33:00 pm »

so i started in one of the large elven retreats and promptly began cutting down all their named trees.  like humans, the elves dont seem to mind when you violate their homes.

but the complaint i have is that named trees dont drop named logs, instead they just drop logs of their tree type.

I guess there should be little pools of sap too, and the other trees should weep amber teardrops.

that would indeed be awesome.  i remember some cheesy fantasy movie from when i was a kid, this hunter was taking potshots at a fleeing badguy and his stray arrows were hitting the enchanted trees that he was trying to protect.  the trees would make moaning noises and bleed when struck.

at least thats what i think was happening.  it was a long time ago.

Free amber! Finally something to justify elf-violating other than spite: Profit!
