I built a wall, a tree grow through it, I chopped the tree down, and now I can't build back the wall. Anyone knows why?

If the wall was there before you chopped the tree down it now shows a log but the wall is still there. Happens with bones a lot to me as well. You can use DFHack to solve it if it bothers you. Just forbid the log and then use DFHack dump to move that log somewhere else.

If items get "thrown" into a tile that dwarfs cannot enter, they will be stuck there until you deconstruct the construction in that tile. Usually you see this with workshops, a workshop was built under a tree then the tree was cut down, or some fight happened and teeth are everywhere. The things that entered the workshop's "solid" tiles get stuck there until you deconstruct it.

I have not see a tree grow into a wall tile but the same principle probably applies for getting the logs out. Deconstruct and reconstruct.

There is something to be said about, if the stakes are as high, maybe reconsider your certitudes. One has to be aggressively allistic to feel entitled to be able to trust. But it won't happen to me, my bit doesn't count etc etc... Just saying, after my recent experiences I couldn't trust the public if I wanted to. People got their risk assessment neurons rotten and replaced with game theory. Folks walk around like fat turkeys taunting the world to slaughter them.
