The riot continues rampaging through this part of the city, with gangs flowing organically around the streets like microoganisms, propelled by random forces with nothing and no-one in charge. The streets that aren't full of angry citizens are suspiciously empty, as the people have either joined the mob or fled it's wrath.
Most of the barbarians stick together, except for Ramses who seems to have disappeared. A moment of looking turns him up, crowd-surfing on the tide of humanity, in obvious enjoyment. Safe for the moment, although the mood of such mobs is always fickle, and if they have nothing else to fight, would be apt to turn inward on the obvious outsider..
Barbarisan is also missing, although she is perhaps more productively engaged than the sun worshipper. She finds herself taking refuge in a more upscale district of the city, known as Parkville, for unknown reasons as it is full of buildings as any other part of the city. She is, at the moment, inside a more upscale tavern getting sniffed at by the snooty proprietor, and informing the more interested well-to-do taverngoers about the ongoing riot, and asking what the city's leaders can do about such a thing.
She gathers that there are actually two mages in the city, one of which is more of a low-level administrator, and the other is one of Sirius's full-on battlemages, and that nobody sane will cross her, as she can summon great gouts of water capable of smashing dozens of people at a time. Barbarisan also finds out that the city has a garrison of soldiers as well as the city watch, and if it gets serious, the garrison will probably put the riot to the sword, as they're considered more 'reliable' to the city's masters. There are also likely a few lesser mages among the legionnaires, although nobody knows how many.
Rock attempts to maintain position in the crowd through might of arms, and to fight the mob en masse. In doing so, however, when spinning around and striking with fist, foot, and deadly look, he loses his balance for a moment on a puddle of gore, and ends up down in the street. There is a word in a street fight for being on the ground, and that word is dead. Rock's armor and agression keeps him alive to get back on his feet, but he cannot avoid taking multiple blows on the way back up. Rock is at 2/3 hitpoints, and has slewn many people, but the mob is too large to fall after a single pass at arms.
Urs and Beorn, however, are working together. Urs tries to find the uniforms of two guards, and does so, taking the pieces from various members of the mob who have already gathered them as equipment or as trophies. A few headbutts are enough to discourage most of the looters from their prizes, but there is one man who stands up to the headbutt and returns the blow. Not used to such a result, Urs is taken by suprise, and is about to be hit by a follow-up blow, when Beorn knocks down the rockhead with a quick move from behind. Once on the ground, the fight is over, and the two barbarians have recovered two guard uniforms.
