Material Emission Question
« on: May 10, 2017, 07:24:25 pm »

Is there any way to define what temperature a material is created at other than defining the initial state (Vapor flow, for instance) and the temperature thereof in the material raw?

[MELTING_POINT:#]
[BOILING_POINT:#]

Suprised this went so long without an answer!

Setting the melting point below room temperature will cause the item to be a liquid, setting the boiling point boiling point below room temperature will make it a gas. Setting it too low will melt or boil your dwarves.

There is a range that's safe for your dwarves however I'm away from my Raws at the moment so I forget exactly what the ideal # is to prevent harming your dwarves. i use it in my mod located in my signature, it's in stone_layer_new.txt I think? Deadly Stone it's called. But hopefully this bump will cause someone else with the numbers on hand to post them.
