After a week of preparation, you order the assault to begin.

Was the appearance of a well-garrisoned fort just that, an appearance? Were your men simply more experienced than a bunch of fort-sitters who may never have seen actual combat? Or was it the favour of the war god?
Whatever the case may be, the assault went off almost without a hitch. The small siege tower was rolled up to the walls, whilst archers protected by screens harassed the enemy. A vigorous charge by your heavy infantry drove their men off the ramparts, and from there it was simply a matter of mopping up the disorganised resistance. A few survivors locked themselves in the central keep, but they surrendered once they realised their situation was hopeless. 

You take down Ogru's flag. This fort was constructed post-collapse, so obviously there is no conduit.

You debate whether to destroy the fort, garrison it with your own soldiers, or simply leave it behind.
