does anyone have archives of the "hall of legend" LPs?
« on: April 07, 2017, 05:05:36 pm »

i've been binge-reading quite a few DF lets plays for a couple of days now (i'm on battlefailed currently), but there's a lot of ones that either have missing content in them, due to image hosts deleting stuff, or have just been wiped entirely - so, i figured that reading them in pdf or doc forms, or even on other websites where they've been backed up (such as lparchive) would be for the best. however, it seems that my searching hasn't come up with much, as i can't find any archives of the lesser-known LPs, such as deathgate, sparkgear, doomforests, or spearbreakers.

this makes me wonder, do any of you have an archive of these LPs? or are they lost to the ages?

It's possible that you could recover some version of the LPs via Wayback Machine or something similar that takes snapshots of websites and preserves them.

The Something Awful LPs are all archived at https://lparchive.org/, but obviously there's a ton more that were done elsewhere. I doubt you'll find much luck even with the Wayback Machine, especially with image links

If you'd rather just listen to them while playing DF instead of reading them. You can find full audio here https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCkEI7cJ-ob1GOHNEr5vFnow. He only has Boatmurdered and Headshoots so far, but he has a good voice for it.

Toady blocks the wayback machine from accessing the website due to excessive bandwidth usage, unfortunately.

regardless, the slime shooter will be completed, come hell or high water, which are both entirely plausible setbacks at this point.
