Minimalist Lexicon

This is a Lexicon game prompted by Piecewise's Open Lexicon here on Bay12, adapted for a more minimal format. In essence, each player creates a word for the next player to define. The rules are as follows:

Rules

1. Every post defines a made-up or fictional word or phrase (such as "Grubblie" or "Knights of the Caterpillar).

2. Every post contains a second made-up or fictional word or phrase. This second word is not defined, it is part of the definition.

3. Each post defines the second made-up word or phrase of the previous post. The word or phrase that was not defined.

4. You can, and are encouraged to, use words defined before in your answer.

5. You cannot introduce specific material from franchises, books, films, etc: this comes entirely from the players. Very generic ideas such as orcs, goblins, elves, etc are ok.

6. You may post a maximum of once every two definitions. So no doubleposts.

Cobra Iron

Cobra Iron is the substance found high in the mountains, and is used to smelt the blades of the Orgothian Army Sentinels.

Orgothian Army Sentinels

Orgothian Army Sentinels are elite soldiers created by fusing humans with steel machinery and weapons. They were created by the great god Orgoth to shield his chosen people from harm.

Orgoth

Orgoth is a ten-headed monkey god made out of flaming steel. He is responsible for the birth of the monstrous Six-Finger Frogs.

Six-Finger Frogs

The Six-Finger Frogs were created by Orgoth when....

etc etc etc. There are no set players, just jump in whenever.

Legends have it that the world is supported on the back of a titanic Carnivaral.

Tangilla is the goddess of the moon and night sky. A slowly but inexorably expanding white presence, she will one day cover the heavens with the luminous marble of the moon.

Quickpearl liquid is believed to be the manifestation of Tangilla on earth.

Little droplets of Tangilla's presence, fallen to the earth, commonly found in small pools. The substance is of great value to the Priestesses of Tangilla, for religious and practical reasons.
