Creatures would avoid the heat, though.

Maybe a minecart roller that burns nobles children passengers each time they roll past.

The worst artifact I have ever had was some wooden amulet called the "Echoing of forests" or some other hippy crap. Thig is, it was on a dwarf who happened to get mauled in the first layer of caverns by a pack of cave trolls who then, lured by it beauty or something camped the corpse.

About half a dozen dwarves tried to reclaim it and all died before I realized what was happening.


The best one (or at least the most memorable one) was a bad made from various bits of badger and moose bone and skin. It also carried the most metal title if all, "the Infection of Bone"
