At last, I gained a named weapon. I slew the great beast Spab Apexruled the bronze colossus earlier in the fortress's history, and I expected that sword that slew the great beast would be named. No. No, something much, MUCH higher quality was named.

This is the sword that was denied a name.



PS: This is my first successful fort. This bronze colossus.. was extremely easy. I only had a group of 5 Sworddwarves that trained 24/7 for about 3 fortress years before he came, and they were kitted with simple low quality steel gear. Not a single person had a scratch.

Update: Another dwarf bestowed a name upon their shield.

Don't worry, I can assure you from long experience that eventually every weapon and shield your soldiers use (unless it is replaced by another weapon/shield at some point) will be named.
