First of all hello well met travelers of the realms. I've been playing video games since Pong & the days of Ultima Online, although at that time I was playing a less known game called LastKingdom. Must say, no surprise, I've never experienced near the challenge that DF is, just to play. But ne'er the depth as well... I've been reading, watching videos and dabbling for the last couple weeks and am slowly beginning to grasp the basics... a few things in particular have been bugging me tho...
In the LNP under Graphics --> Choose, I accidentally clicked 'Simplify Graphic Folders'. Is this something I should be concerned about & if so, can I somehow just dl the LNP itself or should I dl the whole package again and then perhaps just delete the old LNP & move the new one into that folder so I don't loose my saves? I'm not sure how to proceed if I should undo that mistake:p
Also, I noticed before that happened, that I had gotten an
stderr:

WARNING: JSONConfiguration: File PyLNP.user does not exist
That is still in my folder. Is this something I should address as well, or just ignore...
Besides those things I've used Dwarf Therapist & DFHack but I find I like the latter more as it fits, for me, more aesthetically into the game (The colors & all) like for changing jobs/skills. Would be nice if there was a way to darken the background colors of DT but I assume that will be a maddeningly unmet moot fey mood :p
Unfortunately I find more than a few of the DFHack commands to be a bit over my head and was wondering if there was perhaps a good thread or 2 here I might read or something else to help me along...I have read the manual but, as I said I find it's not clear enough or, a bit over my head.
