Okay this is my second attempt at this. The
first session is technically active, I think? But it's definitely slowed down at least to the point where I could take on a couple more players. Gameplay is going to be exactly the same. I'm going to favor those who signed up earliest but it is beyond that first come first serve so after a few people sign up I'll pick the two that were the earliest joiners.
It is my plan to pit players 1 on 1 and have the winner move on to a new round and tier.
How to Play
Each turn you can SEEK, hunt, or use one of your abilities.
Posting is fairly restricted, while playing you should really only say a
single word in your post.
That is either a descriptive or action word for an environment or prey, such as hot or avalanch, or spiky or swimming, or the name of one of your abilities, or a location or prey you've seen before.
AWAKENING (joining)
1) If you'd be interested in playing, right now, in all CAPS post a single descriptive or action word for an environment. (No nouns)
2) if you sign up in the
other thread before now, post an additional(second) word: In all lower case, a prey you are sensing(descriptive or action). You may choose the words from last time or change it up.
3) If you were one of the first two players to join, that didn't make it to the last game, add the third word 'hatch'.
[spoiler=Default Abilities]Triggered abilities: say to use.
Siphon: Know thy enemy. Add target's characteristics to your pool of options for molting. Target's combined size and vitality must be no more than twice your combined total. Can restore vitality up to double your size.
Scream: Loud noises! +2 agility this turn if combined with Siphon. Can't be used next turn.
Passive Traits
Durable: Is that all you got? Physical blows ignored from creaters with combined vitality and size below your vitality. Can survive in the vacuum of space.
Sensing: Why, hello there. Can use a number of words equal to your current vitality to describe the next target environment or prey.
Cold Intolerant: Hold the ice. Your body can not tolerate the cold well in any forceful capacity. You also have an intolerance for assimilating related capabilities. -3
Some abilities will give less benefit in snowy and icy enviroments.
