With how hard the government was hammering technology companies to turn over user data these last few years, the "enhanced" telemetry of Windows 10 is more than a little scary. Even if Microsoft publicly is against it, the fact they have that data so they can provide it if needed isn't making me rush out to give it to them. I might be able to stomach it despite hating how advertising now runs off user data. But when it's capable of being turned over to the Feds? No thanks.
