It's a bit of a long story

Anyway, I've had this idea bouncing around in my head for a while. I'm not 100% sure on how this is going to pan out, or even if I'm going to continue it, but here I am at 1:21 in the morning, so it's a bit late to turn back now.

AU stands for Astronomical Unit. The distance from the Earth to the sun. What is it about the significantly less massive Solid Gas Giant that requires kuiper belt distances?
