SO FAR YOUR ACTIONS ARE:

>Diamond is on the roof. From here can see into the ravine. At the bottom of the ravine are Giant Vultures eating the flesh of something, but it's far too far to make out what exactly. He has a beer, it's cold, bitter and he's commemorating the journey with it. Probably all the crew are having a beer. If you narrate it, it will happen ;)

>Adrika says a +1, inspiring prayer over Maya before she starts the Maneuvers. Everyone in the truck is calmed by her presence and ready to fight anything. (narrate this; share scripture or make something up. Maybe she just uses 'tude)
Adrika can feel the presence of the Goddess' spirit and gets +1 to Fight! for this entire scene (if you can narrate something suitable blood-thirsty)

>Everyone else is in the truck. No one is guiding the truck through Maneuvers or on the road.

>Suggestion: Billy rolls up the sheet of metal into a make-shift club. It will disintegrate eventually with use. For now, he dual wields his mother's machete and the metal club, or gives the club to Bob.

>Suggestion: Bob uses the metal club that Billy makes, and wields it with his Judge's badge (shield) He straps the 2h hammer on his back.

WEAPONS SPECIFICS

This is how I expect weapons to roughly be laid out.
They should have a use, and some flaw/recovery/reload

Spoiler: Adrika's weapons (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Diamond's guns (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Maya's gadgets (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Bob's kit (click to show/hide)

Spoiler: Billy's equipment (click to show/hide)

In addition to equipment, CRABS can BOX, WRESTLE, THROW etc. enemies, as well as running away, climbing, jumping, wielding scrap etc.

I might change around the firing times, reload times, capacity or other features of weapons as I see fit.
It depends on how fast (more enemies, tactics) you want to go.

EDIT: In this scene, just progress forward, you'll meet some enemies, try out your stuff and beat them off. 'Kay?

Okay, here's what I think we'll do.
1. We'll go through the 1st maneuver. I'll write in some enemies to attack you.
2. We'll go through the rest of the maneuvers, and there'll be another battle.
3. Then, in the last part, you get the truck up the other side of the ravine (more Maneuvers, mirror of the 1st set)
Whilst being attacked by a huge group of enemies you have to flee from.

Enemies will come from behind you (as you start) and will have a height advantage in the 1st encounter, level ground in the 2nd and have to fight you as you ascend the other end of the ravine.
The truck should be easier to defend going uphill, if your enemies are downhill.
That'll be the ravine over. After that, visit a bar, and another practice fight on a long road.

HERE IS SOME INFO ABOUT THE RAVINE
The road make a turn CW onto a gentle decline. On the right is the ravine slope (not steep) rising above you in the direction you came from, and on the left is a sheer drop to the next level, another gentle decline. Are you still with me? If you looked at the maneuvers you know it's CW>decline>CCW>decline>CW>decline so it's 3 levels, 4 including the top of the ravine and the floor of the ravine. By the time you're on the last 3rd of your maneuver, you're basically already on the floor, and if the truck falls from there, for example, it's not a bad drop and quite close to the ground. Still, a heavier truck, or a truck with heavy things in it gets banged up worse for being heavy.

For reference, these are the different slopes:
gentle rise/fall incline/decline: such as the winding road (the ravine's "steps")
slope: a gentle slope you can feasibly walk or climb up
steep: you could climb but not walk
sheer: you might climb it
I'll also include the descriptions like this:
Dense foliage covers the ravine slope on your right. The slope is rugged.
A sheer drop on the left leads to the next "step" of the road, about 6 ft down.

Alternatively we could create a training grounds scenario and we'll go over gameplay and I'll gather data for the game.
It'll be like preset examples to try strategies, and, for example, if I want to add stuff to the game.
Maybe we'll do this later if you guys become, like, hardcore involved in this shit.
Otherwise let me write the story with you. I've got the 1st bar written out for you, and it's pre-scripted, but in-play I expect players to be interacting with everything and everyone they see and players should write real witty, funny and interesting shit. I ONLY WANT GOOD WRITING NOT MEDIOCRE STUFF. Excuse me for wanting the best and ONLY the best. Do good writing and your crabs might get cool magic powers :) upset me and you will be attacked by a rhinoman :)
The current time-line of BMFCT is set when there are less than 20 trucks in crab mountain, and things are much more desperate. With only 20 teams off crabs, they can't do as much as in the past, but they can make better decisions and work together to do any shit necessary.

I'll control whoever you guys don't control. I'll lend you use of them if you want to try something, and if you want to change it later, we can do that.

>Think of this as a text game

>I'll narrate your crab's life, if you narrate his character.
>I'll write some shit, but you have to write some shit too.
>I need engagement. Imagine it as a text adventure with a parser who can speak back,
>this is not: roll dice some shit breaks
>This is a STORY being written, edited  etc.
>Also a game we can make up as we go
>But some structure is nice...
>So is story stuff...
>Actually having setting, background and stuff like that?
>Like, a consistent world?
>I mean, if someone wants to come up with crazy ideas, that's up to them...
>And if someone wants to just have fun and roll dice and do a bit of CRAB AWESOME wish fulfilment? That's fine too.
>But in my dreams, CRABS ARE FUCKING AWESOME. My crabs can do anything, within reason.
>We just have to work it out.
>Together.
>I'll keep coming up with ideas if you guys give me something to go on.
>My crabs can do anything, but someone needs to care enough to find it out
>Do you want to have a fun time ? I'll try, but really, FUN comes from PERSONALITY
>A living breathing world, real people and stories, actual players with thinking minds.
>Collaboration, sharing, making and telling a story.
>Telling a story and hopefully a good one.
>I want a good story. And good players. THAT'S ENJOYABLE
>It's different from a book. LOOK MA REAL PEOPLE. This is infinitely more exciting, to me, at least.
>We just make it up as we go and have a good time.
>But isn't that just rolling dice and saying "MY CRAB WINS" or "MY CRAB LOSES"?
>Be more integrated with the experience. This is not solitary and you can't join this whilst being separate.
>You need to open yourself up to your inner crab. Seek a worthy story, a worthy game and worthy actions.
>I want to offer you a bit more than ordinary games or stories. I want to make something fun with you and have fun too :)
>I want to make a lot of things. This isn't even the beginning. I want everything I do to be good, the best.
>You have to keep working on it to make it better. Sometimes we need a break to recover and become anew/renewed.
>But if you want a good experience or game, you should put some thought into it.
>It's reasonable to deduce that thoughts are enjoyable. They lead to various feelings, like in a story, it has themes and such that make us feel such.
>What kind of story do you want? Something ordinary? Same as before? Like others?
>FUCK NO
>I want crab motherfucking motherfuckers who fuck shit up and never shit up.
>It just so happens that in my universe, Crab Truckers is an intricate story of awesome crabs and desperate deeds,
>How desperate? In my game, it's the end of the world, and they're fighting for resources.
>But there are answers, in my world, if players pursue them.
>If not that's okay too. They can seek wish fulfilment, and I will too.
>But I am just a parser. I make the game, but cannot finish it.
>For that, I need....

I liked the premise, but that guy never shut up; instead of a hot-blooded game what we got was an endless stream of fluff. I was about to give up on this anyway.

What does Maegil have in common with a frag grenade?
Answer: does not suffer fools gladly.

Your friendly mysanthropic machete-toting sail-sailing sailor nut job.
Also, a Serial Editor. Just in case, do check my previous post to see if I didn't change or added to it. I do that, a lot...

I don't really like to talk bad about people, but yeah the amount of detail and overemphasis put into literally every detail was rather overwhelming.

Oh well. Sorry about initially encouraging him, folks. It was a bit odd to see a one page RPG get turned into war and peace.

Well, I'm definitely going to hold onto it for my own use. It's right up my alley.
