Sun, sand, the warm tropical breeze, and the slow crash of the timid ocean... Sounds pretty good, right?

Well, that's what you had hoped for upon accepting this free cruise.
"Come join us for a FREE BEACH HOLIDAY!!!" They said.
"Have the TIME OF YOUR LIFE!!!" They said.

What they failed to mention, was that it was a cruise ship owned by an incompetent sailor, and signing the Terms and Conditions (who reads them anyway?) made all your insurances null and void. Weird thing to put in the agreement, but hey, it was a weird agreement.

So, on the cruise ship, you had a wonderful time meeting some new people, before disaster struck, and boom, you're stuck on an island in the middle of god-knows-where. But, we'll start from the cruise ship. Just to get you familiar.

Well, firstly you have to fill out this application form for the cruise 'n' all.

Species: What kind of monster guy/girl are you?? (Pretty much anything is fine, but I'll be the judge of each case.)

Gender: What do you want us to call you??? Don't worry, we're cool guys (I shouldn't need to explain this.)

Personality: We'd like to get to know you a bit before you join us!!!
Physical Description: Pictures are very good!!! (Not necessary, but pictures make everyone's life easier.)
Background: Where are you from?!? Illegal immigrants aren't allowed either!!! (You can come from anywhere, but don't put anything in this that isn't public knowledge. Stuff you wouldn't share with an acquaintance, PM to me.)

Abilities: Got any neat tricks you can show us??? (You start with 2 of these, and you get more as you advance, through various means. They can either be passive or active, but should relate to either your background or your species. Try to make them semi-balanced, but I'll say if they're no good.)

Inventory: What're you bringing along?? (You start with 6 Capacity. Each item has a Capacity rating depending on it's size. There is Large, which takes up 3 Capacity, Medium, which takes up 2 Capacity, and Small, which takes up 1 Capacity. Don't make them too overpowered, or else you won't get in.)

Wallet: How much money do you have?!?!? (Everyone starts with $100.)

Okay, mechanics are as follows.

Pretty much everything will be rolled with a d20. Unless another type of die makes sense, d20 is generally the standard.

There will be combat, and that will be mostly free-form/situational, and you can get bonuses for that from abilities/items.

You have to eat enough each day to survive, and if you don't, your Hunger Pangs will grow larger and larger, until they result in your eventual death. Same goes for drinking, except you need to drink more, and the side-effects of not doing so are worse. I'll keep track of that, and present the information when necessary.

You have a certain amount of time each day to do things, but certain things will tire you out more than others, and passing out mid-action isn't something anyone wants to do.

Cooking is a thing, if you have food and the things necessary to prepare it.

More detailed mechanics may reveal themselves sometime in the future. Mostly, it's fairly free-form, but plot will happen.

This Island's a pretty big place. Who knows what you'll find?

I think you have a misconception about how large beer barrels are. You can't exactly carry one around with you all the time, even if you are a dwarf.
