Dwarf Companion help

I was wondering; can Dwarf Companion change the temperature of the area? I want this giant river to freeze temporarily so I can make a wall and save my FPS.

One: Search for "Weatherdwarf" in the modding section (think it's in modding, anyways).

B: Even if you freeze water with the Weatherdwarf program, it will instantly unfreeze because it's out of season.  Water freezes in winter and thaws in spring, and there's not a damn thing that can be done about it.

III: Don't know if you might be able to evaporate large enough chunks of it to give your workers time to build a wall.  Worth a shot, but you CPU may cry at all the steam.

P.S.: I wonder if steam can be frozen...

If that's the case, freeze it with Weatherdwarf, save game while it is frozen, then turn temperature off in the init. Do the work that needs doing, turn temp back on. Voila.

Sweet, thanks.

The major river is clogging up my FPS...

And I'd like to return the favor.
