You are a honeyguide, a small bird that understants cooperation with other species(look it up they're pretty cool, even if documentation and personal accounts can't come to agreement on everything they can do).

However, your life has brought you on a divergent path. You will encounter animals your parents never did.

You are freed from your cage, and you flee some of the more ferocious animals from the shipwreck, until you find a hidden tree on the island with which you can catch your breath and still your drumming heart.

You arrive, in the zoo. A new display. You are so exotic to this amiture establishment, they don't even know of your love for honey! A dried seed cob is all that sits to sustain you. Pitiful. Yet you've heard the buzz of honeybees nearby. Those grubs and golden honey must be yours.

When the next morning comes all you can think about is eating. You scout the center grassy field of the island, boy are you in luck right off the bat you find a honey bee hive. But you can't really get to the honey or grubs without... some help.
