My idea for "The Wasteland", my other game I was working on, turned into this. Because I just really wanted to see how a completely story-driven, choice-filled, Dwarf Fortress game would be like. Kind of like how TellTale (I am in NO way comparing myself to TellTale) did the Tales from the Borderlands game.

You can check out this small little trailer I made for the game: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_bJB_4Gt58Q (It obviously does not contain gameplay yet. But as soon as I have enough of the game playable, I will make a new trailer :D)

The game stars: Everyone!

Just tell me what you want your character to say and do in the game, and I will try my best to accommodate :D
This may take a little while, but not anywhere near as long as making my own lore and shit. So yeah.

And thus begins a new chapter in dwarven history, my friends:

PART I: THE WASTELAND PART II: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO

The story is going to star Urist McMiner, a dwarven miner that yearns for a more adventurous life out in the world of The Windy Universes. It is terrifying. and it is also inevitable, as he is going to learn soon enough. He must combat the horrors of the dark, night creatures, necromancers, maybe even a bronze colossi or two while on his way towards his ultimate goal.

I'm making this into a full on game made in RPGMaker (I know. I know) it will be free, obviously. And you can tell me whatever type of DF character you would like to see in the game, such as your character, or a fortress. Or whatever you can think of in the bounds of DF.

Oooooh, this looks cool.  Can't believe I've never heard of an RPG maker engine before.  I can see the player playing from the perspective of a traveler trying to reach a dwarf fort, making, I dunno, gear and companion choices along the way, setting the tone for what one could do once inside the fortress.

A randomly generated forgotten beast might be nice for a boss.

FoU has some twisted role ideas. Screw second-guessing this mechanical garbage spaghetti, I'm basing everything on reads and visible daytime behaviour.

Would you like to play a game of Mafia? The subforum is always open to new players.

PART II: THE TILES HAVE EYES (not really)

TILESETS.

Making tilesets is fun for me, and I am currently in progress towards turning the tide on the tilesets to make me masterful punctuations.

You will see any and all progress below:
