DAY 1: The nest of Zormod

...boggy

Zormod screams to life and ruptures its' cacoon. A hazy mirage of swirling air is her new home. She pauses for a moment.

Something- like a flying insect, darts by. It is too small to be of interest to the infant.

The infant floated closer and closer, the acidic frogoid was sleeping. She sensed potential, if it offered what she wanted she would ambush it, if not she would move on sensing her next prey or hunting ground.

Acid Skin: erode the web of local predators. (add repeating aaa to scream)

Acid Stomach: strong acid for breaking down venomous insects safely. (add repeating eee to scream)

Frog Eyes: enhance accuracy of sudden, precision attacks. (ooo)

The bite is fatal. No movement. After a time passes, only a shrivled husk remains.

The infant sets down on the ground, and begins pulsing, vibrating, until a thin layer of film coats its' body. Which soon hardens. (please see OOC)

DAY 1: The nest of Dustan Hache

The second sister in the sector is born. Her mother left her to a dark world with no sun, warmed from within. However something has changed, near the vents luminescent aglea has evolved making bright patches of light. There are large islands of brightness challenging the face of this dark world.

Something is quickly gliding overhead. A winged Manitoid. It swoops down, it thinks it found an easy meal, unfortunately. What will the infant do? Siphon, or run? It senses 3 useful elements:

Finwings: Able to move quickly in the light atmospher, darting and turning capably. High chance to siphon mutation.
|||||||
Darkscale: Light is heavily absorbed by the body, making attacks from above undetectable against the black sky. Moderate chance to succeed.
|||||
Echo-Location: Detect object further away than the infant's sensing. Poor chance to succeed.

| | | She meets it's decent midway but is jolted by the sheer speed of the creature. It scratches and bites at her, but unable to find a weak point, untangles itself and flies away.

|||| Something massive is moving in a clearing ahead of her. It's thunderous steps echoeing. She sees a large elephantoid with branches and skeletons stuck to it like some kind of spike armor. It's far too much for her... but an infant, covered in similar, smaller debris, is close by.

||| She tries to move on, but suddenly the ground shakes and the infant is at once surrounded by massive Elephantoids rising from the wet ground. She sees a narrow clearing and tries to drift through.
||| The opening closes. She is stuck among the ranks of the herd. Drifting with them for awhile, they eventually duspurse, submerging themself. This new location is much more active with life. The dark shadows following her would indicate some are quite large. Their life signatures are strong and she is unable to hunt. They gain on her.
