Boozecooking?
« on: July 26, 2016, 05:09:28 pm »

I forgot to disable dwarven beer from being cooked, so my dwarves cooked quite a lot of it (at first, I didn't know why it was disappearing so fast), despite other ingredients being available. Don't dwarves usually avoid cooking with booze unless forced?

I put the "líquido" stockpile next to kitchen, and my dwarf cook with syrup.

Booze add more value to meals, and more stacks, thabk to the *5 multilier.

1plump helnet +1pkun helmet: 2 meals of value 36 (* quality mod)

1plump helmet + 5 dwarven vine: 6 meals of value 72 (* quality mod)

With legendary growers and lavish meals, the math is better

Sometimes if you over-compensate with booze production or you don't want to lose seeds (cooking from memory destroys seeded plants with no return) as a supplimentary contributor to your cooks, using booze can be good. Sun berry booze particularly is the most valuable and a good choice.

Correct on the seeds. So it is generally better to process plants before cooking. If you have too many seeds, those can be cooked as well. Seed roasts FTW!

The more appropriate question becomes, are they awesome and dwarven enough.
